What to expect:
Before your session takes place we will plan out the who, what, when, and where of your session. I will collect some pretty standard information from you so that I can e-mail your contract, print and model release, and your invoice. These documents will need to be signed and retainer paid before your session takes place. This is easily done through your client portal and e-signature.
I can help you plan the perfect location if you're not quite sure on where to go, I will not recommend certain locations for small children, elderly, or pets due to unstable ground or high fall risks. I will also not conduct sessions on or around train tracks, busy roads, or any other sort of immediate danger. My biggest concern before shooting is your safety!
Should you want recommendations or a style outline I can offer a simple guide to perfecting your ensemble for your session.What you wear though will always be up to you!

During your session I will provide starting positions and posing guidance in a way that is easy to understand and hopefully just tons of fun! I will never ask you to pose in a way that feels unnatural or uncomfortable to you.

When littles are photographed I will give as many breaks as you need. Sometimes we're hungry, wet, or sleepy and I get that! I will never rush children and I understand when kids just aren't having it. It happens, and it's no ones fault. Giving breaks to play, run around, or meet any needs they may have is crucial to getting the best images. Sometimes being in front of a stranger with a camera is a lot of pressure for kiddos so I will always try my best to be accommodating.

When we are finished I will give you a brief over view of when to expect sneak peaks, finished galleries, or any other information you may need.
After we finish your session, I will send you a preview/sneak peak image(s) within 1-5 days of your session. I will begin editing your images and building your gallery. Upon completion of the gallery I will e-mail, text, or message you your link to your gallery. From there you can download all of your high resolution digital images. You can share your gallery link with anybody and for an additional cost determined by the 3rd party printing service you select, you can conveniently order prints, canvas, metal prints and more all from the gallery. Standard turnaround for gallery completion is typically 2-3 weeks but occasionally may be longer, I will let you know ahead of time. Galleries remain active for 90 days before being removed. It is recommended to download and backup your images immediately as I do not save them after the 90 day period.
What not to expect:
I do not give out or sell raw images. I can extend gallery active time from 90 days to 180 days for an additional storage fee of $30 but not beyond that. I will not share your gallery link with anybody but you! Your package has a set number of digital images that you purchased, should you want more images please consider this at the time of booking or let me know at the session, I can always upgrade your package.
​*Locations outside of a 20 mile radius of Dickinson ND will be charged a $20 travel fee
**Groups larger than 10 will need to book large group session or contact me for a more custom package.
***Starting September 11th 2024 a NON-REFUNDABLE retainer of 50% of your booking fee will be charged to reserve your session. This retainer is applied to your total balance where the remainder will be due upon the day of your session. If you fail to reschedule 24 hours prior to your session and do not show, you forfeit this retainer. If you cancel within 48 hours of your session, you forfeit this retainer.
